New Catering & Bar Launch

The new National Hunt racing season is now well underway the team at here has been busy making improvements to the facilities on site.

Besides the fantastic new weighing room and chill out area for jockeys, we have also completed the build for the New Owners & Trainers bar  – ‘The Cool Roxy Bar’ named after the most prolific racehorse, who had 11 wins at Fakenham,  Cool Roxy, owned and trained by Alan Blackmore.

The 18 year old, now retired  horse was present at the new bar launch on 28th October and looked in great form.

David Hunter, chief executive is also delighted to announce the new catering partnership between  The Crown Inn at East Rudham  run by Tristan McEwen, Paula McEwen & Paul Edwards. The Crown Inn is providing some fantastic food choices for the Firth Restaurant customers and will be catering for all non-racing events such as weddings, parties or corporate do’s.

The Long Bar is also looked after The Crown Inn, East Rudham team and has undergone  some changes which will enhance customer experience at the races.

“We are delighted to have joined David and the team at the racecourse and look forward to working with everyone here. The new owners and trainer`s bar looks fantastic as well as all the changes to the Long bar, we are excited about the new season and bringing the Crown Inn, East Rudham here to Fakenham Racecourse.” Tristan McEwen
