We kicked off 2016 with a BANG here at Fakenham Races today. It has been the busiest meet in a while with over 7,000 of you joining us for a day of sport, so a big THANK YOU for your support throughout 2015 and for a such fantastic start to 2016!
We’ve seen everyone enjoy their day out – young and old – novice & experts! Despite the soft going this morning the races were absolutely fantastic with some great winners sharing a whopping £40,000 of prize money between them.
With such an exciting start to the year, we hope that you will be joining us at some of our other race fixtures in 2016. The Easter Monday race meet on 28th March 2016 is very popular with the families and our annual Ladies Day, on 22nd May 2016 is becoming one of the best attended racing events in Norfolk with plenty of competitions and prizes for our visitors.
