The site is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The onsite office follows the following opening hours:
Weekday 9am-5pm closing 1pm -2pm for lunch . Winter hours at weekends (October to easter ) 9am-1pm or 12pm during quieter times. summer hours at weekends (easter to October ) 9am-5pm
There is an on-site warden or racecourse staff that can deal with arrivals and departures outside of the office hours.
If you wish to arrive outside of these hours then this can be arranged by letting the Racecourse staff know in advance.

Pitches
125 Caravan / Motorvan Pitches with 15amp electric TV hook ups. Some hard standing area. Limited ‘Long Stay’ pitches subject to availability.
Tent Pitches Available – We also have two camping areas for tents, one has 10 electric hook ups available (Numbers 313 to 320), and the other area is solely for tents that does not require access to electricity.

Arrival time during the winter months can be from 11:30am Arrival time in the summer months can be from 2pm . if arrival time during the summer months is needed earlier than 2pm please contact reception
The Caravan site has a Late Arrival facility and operates a drop box outside reception which will contain your booking and an overnight pitch information.
Departure Time
Please leave your pitch by 11 am on the day of your departure.
Amenity Blocks
Three centrally heated amenity blocks with showers, wash basins, accessible facilities, shaver points, mother care units and washing up areas.

Waste
Chemical and waste water disposal points.
Dogs
Dogs are permitted, up to a maximum of 2 per pitch, but must be kept on leads around the site.
General Waste
All guests staying on the caravan site are to strictly adhere to the recycling requirements for the disposal of waste. There are waste containers for recyclable and non-recyclable products and bottle close to reception.
Booking is advisable at all times. It is essential for Bank Holidays and between June and September.
A child is classed as between 5 and 11 years of age. Children 4 yrs and under are free for staying on caravan and campsite.
Motor Vans over 8 metres will be charged an extra £5 per night
Extra vehicles are charged at £2.00 per vehicle per night
Electric Tent Pitches £2.50 extra per night
Full payment needs to be made at the time of booking your pitch, whether that be online, over the phone or by email.
Fakenham Racecourse does NOT operate a refund policy for but if a booking does have to be cancelled or cut short the booking can be carried forward to be taken at Fakenham Racecourse within a two year period.

Fakenham Racecourse makes an excellent centre for an active holiday. In the surrounding area alone there are a number of notable activities on offer, for example an 18-hole golf courses, opportunities for boating, shooting, walking, visiting landmarks and Estates (including Holkham, Houghton and Sandringham), fishing, swimming and many other indoor and outdoor activities (including Pensthorpe, Langham Glass and Sculthorpe Moor). Or you can simply stay on the Racecourse itself and enjoy the facilities of the Fakenham Sports Centre immediately adjoining the site, visitors are welcome. Fakenham Racecourse welcomes small or large caravan rallies at any time of the year. Please note in the middle of winter numbers will be reduced to hard standing pitches only.
We also welcome camping groups/clubs of all sizes.
To enhance your stay there are various meeting rooms available for hire around the site according to your needs.

On race days ALL guests staying on the caravan and camping site must move their caravans/motor vans/tents to a grass area in the centre of the course by 9am. On these days complimentary Course Enclosure tickets are given to each qualifying guest that stays a minimum of 2 nights. Consult caravan reception regarding movement in and out of the site while racing is in progress.

Between the months of April and September each year we have a limited number of pitches in our Seasonal Park.
These pitches are ideal for people who want to spend the summer in this beautiful location. The prices obviously vary from year to year but attract generous discounts off the usual daily rate for a pitch and 2 adults.

Customers should be aware that Fakenham Racecourse Limited operates the following booking and cancellation policy.
Bookings may be made by any of the following methods:
Whichever method of booking is used, full payment for the complete stay will be taken at the time of the booking.
Online bookings made via the website require details to be made in all required fields.
Minimum 3 nights over a bank holiday.
Maximum of TWO dogs per pitch/unit.
During the current CV19 pandemic if a booking had to be cancelled specifically because of government legislation or restrictions then the booking can be moved to another time within a two year period or a refund can be given. For a refund to be considered the customer will be asked to provide specific details of their booking, personal circumstances and why they feel a refund is due. Fakenham Racecourse strongly advises ALL guests to have suitable holiday insurance cover.
Fakenham Racecourse politely asks all guests to adhere to a strict ‘Silent Hours’ policy from 10.30 pm each night of NO music, loud chat, laughter or games.
The management will take into consideration any circumstance of the curtailment of any stay at Fakenham Racecourse. As a general rule, monetary refunds will not be made. Site vouchers, for future use towards any stay at Fakenham Racecourse only, may be given in compensation and shall remain valid for a period of two years from the date of issue.
Bad behaviour or abuse towards any staff or other guests may result in the person being asked to leave the park immediately, with the loss of the rest of the value of their stay.
Fakenham Racecourse Caravan & Camping Site will not accept bookings or allow anyone to stay who is listed on the Violent and Sex Offenders Register (or any register that might supersede this). By making this booking you confirm that no one in your party is on this Register.
