Enjoy a unique race day experience, brilliant as a gift for a horse racing enthusiast or someone who has never been to the races before.

The day begins when you are greeted by one of our Fakenham Racecourse Directors, who will explain the day and take you for a tour of the racecourse (to include all areas you can visit on a race day).

You will have a base for the day in the Lancaster Room, which is track side and has great views, tv screens, a bar and betting.

This package includes a Day Member pass so you can access all areas of the racecourse, so if you want to go up to the winning post or stand near the owners and trainers in the Grandstand, you can do so.

Lunch is a casual dining two-course menu in the Seafood Cafe (with a vegetarian or chicken alternative) with desserts and tea/coffee.

For one race you will visit the Parade Ring, with your guide, and choose the 'best turned out' horse, plus be up close with the owners, trainers and jockeys whilst they discuss last minute race tactics before they head out on the track.

This is an exclusive package for a maximum of 6 people at each race meet. Dress code is casual / practical and appropriate for the weather.

Enjoy a two course lunch at our Seafood Cafe and an indoor base for the afternoon in the track-side Lancaster Room at the Gallow Sports Centre.

The Lancaster Room is a comfortable space with large windows to two sides situated at the open ditch corner of the course.  You have uninturrupted views up the home run towards the finish line (you cannot see the finish line from this location) and there is a bar, tv screens showing the racing and betting facilities on site.

You have a choice of four options, and the locally sourced food is prepared in the mobile kitchen by Ian Betts of IB Chippy and previously properieter of several Seafood or Fish & Chip restaurants.  All dietary requirements can be catered for, though please mention these when choosing your options in advance.

Menu options are:

– Hot seafood plater which includes beer batted cod, haddock bites, scampie and chips

– Fish & chips

– Crispy chicken fillets with chips

– Vegetarian option wiht beer battered vegetables with chips

Then a choice of four desserts, either cold – chocolate fudge / lemon meringue pie or hot – sticky toffee ponge / lemon drizzle.

Please note – the food is served to your table in recycleble boxes with bamboo cutlery.

Your table is your area for the entire race day, open from an hour and a half before the first race until half an hour after the last, and you can come and go as you like.

This booking includes a Grandstand & Paddock ticket, which entitles access to the Parade Ring, Adrian Flux Bar and the main Grandstand, as well as a race card. 

Parking recommendation is the centre of the course – entrance NR21 7NY. For this entrance you show your tickets to gate staff whilst in your vehicle, so please have tickets ready (either printed or on your phone).
