PICNICS AT THE RACECOURSE
We are proud to allow our racegoers to bring their own picnic to our Aldiss Easter Monday meeting, however, please note that it is not allowed anywhere at the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure or Members Enclosure ( except for car park, where you are allowed picnic from the boot of your car). No picnic’s or foldable chairs, rugs or any form of ‘reserved’ seating is to take place near the fences where racegoers stand to watch the races. This applies to all enclosures. Please do not bring your food and sit at the tables/benches provided by the racecourse – these are not available to be reserved for the day.
Only areas where picnics are allowed are the boot of your vehicle in any car parks or the centre of the course. Please do not bring own food/alcohol to the racecourse past the car park. Our staff reserve the right to refuse access or ask you to move.
Enjoy one of the biggest race meetings of the year on Easter Monday on 13th April. With 7 races and plenty of entertainment for the little ones, it is an excellent day out for the whole family. Children will be able to meet the Easter Bunny and his helper and enjoy some activities in the centre of the course ( weather permitting).
Easter Monday is a family day out, so bring all of your loved ones – even your (well behaved) dogs!
You are welcome to have a picnic from the boot of your car at this race meeting, however, there will be plenty of food stalls and coffee trailers should you get peckish and fancy a bite to eat. We would encourage you to dress for the weather so if it looks chilly out, we’d recommend having a lovely warm coat!
Buying your badges online in advance could save you up to £3pp and you can print your tickets at home, so to speed up the process as you arrive.
Event proudly sponsored by Aldiss.
