Due to high demand and great success last year, there will be a disco after the last race in the Grandstand & Paddock Enclosure. There is no extra charge and everyone is welcome to stay, however, please note that it will be weather dependent. In an unfortunate case of poor weather, the disco may be cancelled or moved to another location on the day.
Picnics, Barbeques & Gazebos
Please note that all picnics must be restricted to the car park areas only and no picnic food or drink can be taken into, or consumed in, the public enclosures, buildings or bars. This does not apply to food or drink bought from the racecourse vendors.
Barbeques and the use of a naked flame is forbidden anywhere on the racecourse – it is dangerous and antisocial. Gazebos, tents or shelters are not to be erected anywhere on the racecourse unless specific permission has been given from the racecourse company in advance.
No picnic chairs, tables or rugs must be set up in front of the grandstand or around the parade ring area where people stand to watch the racing.
Please do not bring your own food or drink to the enclosures past the car parks. Our staff reserve the right to refuse access or ask you to return items to your car.
There are very few dates where the ladies of Norfolk can get dressed in their finest attire and enjoy a very special day out, so why not come and join us at Jarrold Ladies Day at Fakenham Racecourse.
It is with delight that Fakenham Racecourse can confirm that this year’s Ladies Day, which will take place on Sunday 2nd June, will be sponsored by Jarrold department store in Norwich. Fakenham Racecourse recognises the importance of collaborating with a premium, local, family-owned business that shares the same values, and also has a strong presence in the Norfolk fashion world. Representatives from both Jarrold and Fakenham Racecourse believe that by working together they will create many more exciting opportunities to enhance the customer experience at this annual event and secure it firmly in the county’s Society calendar.
There will be competitions for the best-dressed lady, best-dressed couple and best hat on race day and we really hope many of those attending will enter to win some great prizes!
Latest date for the tickets to be posted if purchased online is 5 working days before the event. If you purchased your tickets online after this date, please print your e-tickets and bring them with you in order to receive badges at the gate on arrival.
If using e-tickets, please use Pudding Norton Entrance ( Postcode NR21 7NA) on the day of the races for faster entry and parking. If entering through the Jewsons gate ( via town centre) you will be requested to park in the centre of the course car park. There is no access to Members Car park if arriving via Jewsons / Town Gate.
YOU CAN PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE GATE ON THE DAY.
